View from a "One-One Behaviour/Pack Leader Consultation" (UK)

"I can’t believe the difference in Daisy since I have been using the techniques you showed me. Not only has her recall improved dramatically but she is a much calmer, happier dog in herself. Even her vet asked me what I had done as she noticed such a difference since our last visit! Our bond is so much stronger now she sees me as Pack Leader and we both get so much joy from our walks together, now she can run around and not be stuck on the lead all the time. Thank you for helping me allow her to be the dog she was meant to be." Nicola.

View from "Dog Rehabilitation and Owner Training" for fear aggressive behaviour towards other dogs (UK)

'' My name is Alex and my gorgeous Border Collie is Snoop. I have had Snoop since he was 12 weeks old. When Snoop turned 6 months he was attacked by another dog. I was terrified and spent the next few years failing at handling a dog who I assumed was aggressive towards other dogs. So I had paid to see another behaviourist and was told Snoop would never be able to be around other dogs. I believed them. I regularly visit Cesar Milan's web-site, I have his books and watch the Dog Whisperer. While on Cesar's web-site I noticed someone was replying to people's problems from the UK.... that person was Suzie. I emailed Suzie and couldn't believe she lived only an hour away from my home. Shortly after I spoke to Suzie to explain my situation. Suzie understood everything I was saying. Then Snoop and I have had two sessions with Suzie and to say we have 'turned our situation around' is an understatement. Suzie taught me to be the Pack Leader and proved that you can rehabilitate a dog. Snoop and I are hoping to be competing in Agility soon and this is thanks to Suzie and her pack who helped me. Views from "Distance People Coaching" service

USA Client:  I am 53 and always wanted a puppy of my own. So I went and saw a litter of Jack Russell Terriers, need I say more! I took home a sweet eight week old puppy. I am very laid back and I later came to realize... JRT are not! By the time he was three months, he ruled me and I was becoming afraid of him. I searched on line and found a Cesar Millan yahoo group and began to ask questions. Suzie responded and I soon saw that my dog actually listened to me. She has become our long distance trainer who has helped my family understand how dogs think. She is a terrier expert! It has been a long eight months for me but now, with Suzie's coaching for the last couple of months, I understand how my dog thinks and what he needs in order to be balanced. I am now his pack leader and he is my follower dog. I have learned a lot from him and he has made me a strong and confident person in such a short time. I actually have self worth which I did not recognize before. All this from one 13-pound terrier and my best dog psychologist and people coach in the world - Thank you Suzie.

UK Client:  I Came across Suzie and her blog quite by accident one evening at my wits end, an avid viewer of the Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan, to whom his approach and technique we were trying to mirror at home, this due to our household being ran by our dominant JRX bitch who ruled my elderly Great Dane, and to some extent myself and boyfriend. Walks were a nightmare, my JR beat up everything on 4 legs she came across, and my confidence to take both dogs out together at an all time low. I printed everything on Suzie's blog, read it hungrily, and sent her an email, her replies were inspiring and straight to the heart of my problems and weakness's, from that point I enrolled in Suzie's program. An endless stream of email's she returned to my tales of woe each day, hour long phone conversations, and always with positive encouragement and advice, and the belief that you can do it. I lost my beautiful Great Dane to old age, and it was Suzie that guided us through the tough time, and the direction she gave us on how to proceed with my JRX bitch after the event was invaluable, that and along with the advice when we sought a puppy to add to our family, with children involved etc, again step by step we had the help and guidance to now proudly have a balanced pack, my bitch no longer is a thug, but a well mannered little lady and our Border Terrier puppy is evolving into a nice genuine individual, were not totally fixed, by that i mean us humans, but we are still work in progress, actions do become instinctual and second nature over time but there is always a question or situation i need Suzie to answer, I honestly can't imagine a time when i won't need to ping off the odd email for reassurance or advice from her. She is our Dog Whisperer and no way would we be where we are now without her.

THOUGHT "Just For Today"

"ALL IS WELL"
A short phrase, yet a KEY to calm assertive energy. Try repeating this if ever you are anxious or fearful... frustrated or angry. Hold your head high and shoulders back - stride out and repeat this phrase to change your thinking pattern to "All is Well"!

Meditation opportunity: "Let us remember even when fear is close at our heels, we can elude its grasp if we remember this message which eternally accompanies us: 'All is well'. Life is a series of opportunities for emotional, spiritual and intellectual growth. No opportunity for action is beyond our capabilities. Look today to this day only - then I will be invited to participate in experiences designed for my particular development. All Is Well."
