Who I am!

I am Suzie Crystal, professionally trained in canine behaviour, with certificates in dog psychology. 

I began my formal studies with the Canine Behaviour Centre, and continue every year to increase my knowledge and stay up-to-date with dog behaviour modification.   I am "The Canine Coach"!

"Dog psychology is not an exact science"!

This is very true, I learn so much more from dogs themselves!

Through having my own large pack of dogs I have gained a unique insight into dog psychology and behaviour.

This experience tells me:

how dogs live with other dogs and humans;
how they communicate;
how they model from each other and get along together;
how they need mental and physical exercise and walks;

and how they use discipline and affection all in the name of balance, security, and peace.

As their Pack Leader I know all about how to provide dogs with this everyday balanced structure. I can translate this into any environment.

I love dogs, I respect my dogs as dogs!  We have a wonderful relationship here united as one balanced pack.

I now live in Norfolk, where I run my services from my home, including coaching owners from a distance - a speciality of mine gained from much experience helping others to success both online and by telephone.

I also enjoy travelling in my home county and around the UK to work with clients rehabilitating their dogs.

Having worked for many years as a people trainer, I truly believe coaching to be a great service which can deliver benefits directly to you. "What you need to know" is taken from my extensive resources and experience. I translate this into a way you can understand, as a bespoke service, to help you in your unique environment and dog(s).

I have owned dogs since I was 10 years old. Now in my 40s I have 14 dogs and other animals.

All my dogs live in the home with me; we walk, rest, and play together. My breeds vary from a Chihuahua to a Gt Dane, from English Setters to Terriers, a few mixed breeds and not forgetting my trusting Doberman!

I have always had dogs as my close companions who love and trust me; now I also have dogs who respect my leadership too - not through obedience training, but because I am their accepted leader.

This is how I can have 14 dogs living with me in the home in peace - no kennels, just sharing our pack den, my home!  My dogs are my companions and teachers every day!

Experienced Canine Coach!

My goal  is to restore balanced relationships.  By working with all breeds of dog, using natural and effective methods of treatment, I enable harmonious living together.

I have worked with many breeds of dog and many different behaviour problems!  There is always a solution, training owners is part of the way to restore balance and make this a more enjoyable experience for all.

My mentor is Jen Freilich, a leading USA Trainer and Behaviourist, who was also taught by an apprentice of Cesar Millan.

Privileged to have personaly spent time with Jen, I have directly learned techniques to rehabilitate dogs. I gained an understanding of her unique insight into the species dog and her understanding of Cesar's Way - his philosophy and methods.

Cesar, star of National Geographic's Dog Whisperer, has inspired me to learn more from the best teachers - the dogs themselves, and to teach/help the owners too.  I support Cesar and my pack, as well as clients here, prove the success of his philosophy to live as Pack Leader.

I have developed my own methods too, incorporating positive motivation and reinforcement to train dogs too.  This is built from my many years working with and helping dogs to enhance the special human/canine bond. 

I am experienced in working patiently with aggression, my goal is to restore balanced mind and behaviour through rehabilitation and training.

I am honest, helpful, kind, and experienced. I love dogs and consider anything I can do to help them as my mission. This is not just a "day job"! I have had success where others have said that nothing can be done. Something always can be done. I am reliable and never give up on you or your dog(s).

I do not judge anyone.  The relationship you want with your dog, we can turn it into reality, we can find what works "just for you". I work by not harming a dog or its owner relationship. This is my core belief: to help dogs without harming them or people.

I am also experienced in working with people. Through our canine journey together I help and encourage owners, enabling improved environments in which to live with their dogs. I am a good listener and I can communicate well with humans too!

My goal is to help people truly understand dogs and have the best relationship they can to fulfill all and lead the way to balance.

As a coach I help you to identify your goals and meet them. As humans we can change our thinking patterns to bring about change.

I have a dream inspired by Cesar Millan: I want to fulfill my hopes for the future by enabling the UK to have more places where dogs help dogs - dog psychology centres which are populated with rescue dogs rehabilitated to provide the balancing influence - centres which help dogs, yet are not just for the dogs they help people too!
